Attend seminars hosted by the New York Public Library (Science, Business Industry Library on 34th Street/Madison Avenue). It has a lot of seminars pertaining to new business owners and will assist you with growing your business. Follow blogs of successful industry professionals. Join an association, i.e., ISES, MPI, Association of Bridal Consultants, Weddings Beautiful Worldwide for networking and educational opportunities. Subscribe to blogs and newsletters from industry leaders that you respect.
Google Alerts: use specific phrases such as wedding planning courses, wedding planners, or names of those individuals who you admire and every time their name or phrase appears on Google, you will receive an alert.
