Question by Pickle: In Need of Wedding Ideas for between the Bride and Groom?
I need ideas of things we could do together to make it personal. Someone I know had her and her groom fill a jar with sand (their wedding colors). I want something like that. Something cheap that we could do together. Ideas please?

The common ones are the sand; using 2 candles to light a large one; and releasing doves together. You can also ask your MOH or BM to connect your rings with a ribbon which represents the connection of your souls for the ceremony.Another idea is using 2 jars of coloured water, say pink and blue; or your wedding colours and pouring them into a bigger jar to create a new colour symbolizing a “new life”.

You could always write your own vows. Thats really inexpensive and its really personal.
I also saw once when they mixes chemicals instead of sand and the cheicals were both clear and when they mixed together the glowed bright blue, that was cool. I don’t know what they were (obviously non toxic but it was neat. We all thoguht it was just water.
We’re writing our own vows and doing a sand ceremony. And there’s just little quirks in the ceremony that is more us. We are having a custom cake topper made with us dressed up as one of our favorite video game characters and just putting ourselves, sometimes literally, and figuratively more into the ceremony.
in our ceremony we did a tasting and likened the flavors to aspects of love. peppers for spicy, berries for sweet etc.
